Automatic detection of wheelchair pushes

Kiplin now allows people with reduced mobility to play with the number of pushes instead of the number of steps.

To do this, you will need an iPhone 📱 and an Apple Watch ⌚️. To our knowledge, this is currently the only configuration that allows automatic movement recognition. Unfortunately, we do not have any solutions for Android.

  • First, you need to activate ‘Wheelchair’ mode. To do this, go to:

Apple Health -> Profile (top right) -> Health Details

You must then activate edit mode in the top right corner to change the values.

  • Perform a few movements to confirm that it is detecting correctly.

  • You can then create your step sensor in the Kiplin app by granting all the permissions requested.
