Kiplin is compatible with the following brands: Garmin - Withings/HealthMate - Apple Watch.
Kiplin is not directly compatible with connected devices from Samsung, Huawei, Fitbit, Polar, TomTom, Suunto, or Mi Band.
To use your connected tracker in the Kiplin app :
Go to the home page > click on your name (profile)
Click on Unlink my tracker
Then click on My tracker and choose I use a smartwatch
Choose the brand of your connected object and follow the instructions on your screen.
At each synchronisation between your watch and the application linked to this watch, the steps will be updated in the Kiplin app (count a few minutes).
Connecting your Apple Watch
To connect your Apple Watch to Kiplin, the procedure is slightly different:
In the Watch app on your iPhone -> Pair your watch with your iPhone
Be sure to check the sharing permissions with Health by tapping "Devices" in the Health app on your iPhone.
Back on Kiplin, then connect your Health app to Kiplin. Synchronization is complete! Now you're ready to go 😉
What if my device isn't directly compatible?
Android
To connect a smart device that is not directly compatible, you can use the Santé Connect app, which will act as a bridge between Kiplin and your smart device's app.

iOS
You will need to connect your device's app (if it allows it) to Apple Health.
Apple Health will act as an intermediary and will be able to merge the activity data from your phone with the data from your smartwatch.
You will then need to set your phone as the step sensor in the Kiplin app. Kiplin reads the step data in Apple Health and therefore the data from your watch.
If your application does not allow you to synchronise its data in Apple Health (such as Fitbit), you can use the Health Sync application as an intermediary between your application and Apple Health.
