🍽️ Quests to help you eat better

With our partner Limeat, Kiplin offers quests centred on food. The idea is simple: you take a photo of your meal, and Limeat's artificial intelligence analyses it in a few seconds to give you a result.

✅ If your meal meets the quest's goal, points are awarded automatically.
🔁 If not, don't worry: the quest stays open and you can try again the next day with another meal.

📸 How does it work?

  1. Open the quest from the Home tab.

  2. Tap "Take a photo 📸".

  3. Photograph your plate.

  4. Wait a few seconds while it is analysed 🔍.

  5. Discover your result!

🥦 The 3 nutrition quests

Green meal 🥦
Photograph a 100% vegetarian meal, with no meat or fish. This quest is available as soon as you sign up.

The plate that counts 🥗
Get a high enough One Health score on your meal. This quest unlocks when you activate a nutrition-themed bonus.

Light on the planet 🌍
Photograph a meal whose carbon footprint stays below the threshold shown in the quest. This quest unlocks once you've completed "The plate that counts".
⚡ It has 3 levels: a more demanding version starts automatically after each success.

🌿 How is the One Health score calculated?

The One Health score is a unique indicator developed with the Sorbonne University Faculty of Medicine. It sums up, in a single score out of 100, a meal's impact on your health and on the planet's.

Each meal is analysed against two families of criteria:
🍎 Nutritional criteria: balance of the plate, calorie intake, vitamins and minerals…
🌍 Environmental criteria: carbon footprint, water consumption, origin of ingredients…

⚠️ This score gives a simple, easy-to-read indication. It does not replace the advice of a nutritionist.

✨ To boost your Health score:

  • Eat quantities suited to your level of physical activity

  • Favour unsaturated fats and limit sugar

  • Choose minimally processed foods

  • Aim for a balanced plate: about half fruit and vegetables, the rest split between protein and starchy foods

✨ To boost your Planet score:

  • Limit processed foods

  • Favour seasonal produce

  • Reduce the share of animal products

The same tips will also help you complete the "Light on the planet" quest 🌍.

❓ Any questions?

"We couldn't analyse your plate"
The AI didn't recognise the food. For a better analysis:
☀️ Take the photo somewhere well lit
🔎 Frame the plate closely, ideally from above
🍽️ Make sure the whole meal is visible in the photo

Why can't I choose a photo from my gallery?
The photo must be taken at mealtime, directly from the app.

When can I try again?
If your meal doesn't meet the quest's goal, you can try again the next day with a new meal. The quest stays open until the end of the game.
