The principle
Advance collectively on the Adventure trail while positioning yourselves in the rankings. Unlock stages with your physical activity points and take on challenges as a team to climb the rankings. How do you actually play?
1. Understanding the rankings
Several rankings may be active during the adventure:
The collective ranking: based on the physical activity points accumulated by your team + the challenges won together.
The individual ranking: based on your personal physical activity points accumulated throughout the game.
The inter-entity ranking: based on the average individual points of the participants from each entity.
2. How do you earn points individually?
Get moving!
Walking, cycling, Kiplin sessions: every physical activity earns you points.
You can earn up to 200 points per day (this is a maximum, not a daily target).
How it works:
Get moving
Open the app
Your points are automatically added to your individual ranking
Your points accumulate throughout the duration of the game
3. How can you earn points as a team?
Get moving AND take on challenges!
Group challenges are offered throughout the Adventure. Each challenge you complete earns your team points.
4. How do I access the challenges?
Click on the challenge icon in the top right corner
Click on a Challenge card.
Read the rules, the deadline, and the points to be earned.
Return to the Challenge card to see if you have won.
Please note: challenges will affect your ranking.
Coordinate with your team to maximize your chances of winning!
5. How to advance on the map
Advancement on the map is collective. It is achieved by accumulating all the points earned by all participants in the game.
6. How to win?
Collective ranking: the winning team will be the one that has accumulated the most physical activity points AND won the most challenges.
Individual ranking: the player who has accumulated the most physical activity points throughout the challenge.
Inter-entity ranking: the entity whose participants have the best average individual points.
7. In the event of a tie
It may happen that several participants finish with the same number of points at the end of a challenge. An automatic arbitration system allows them to be ranked fairly and transparently. (Link to article: How are ties broken in individual rankings?
8. Shadow mode
48 hours before the end of the game, Kiplin hides the rankings to spice up the end of the game. The results are revealed one day after the end of the game (this timeframe may vary depending on the company).
