A sliding scale is put in place to encourage regular physical activity. The weighting of the scale explains the difference between your ranking and your number of steps. Find the scale of points to win in your game in the rules of the game (small i on the left of your screen).

The aim of this scale is to encourage regular activity. We like to take the example of tooth brushing: it is recommended to brush your teeth at least twice a day. This will not be effective if you wash your teeth 14 times on Sundays and do not brush the rest of the time ;) It's the same with physical activity: it's better to move for 30 minutes every day than to do a marathon on Sunday and do nothing the rest of the week. So this scale is an incentive to move a little every day!

Details of the most common scale at Kiplin:

  • From 1 to 10,000 steps ➡ 1 point per step

  • 10,001 to 20,000 steps ➡ 0.5 points per step

  • From 20,001 steps to 30,000 steps ➡ 0.1 point per step

  • Over 30 000 steps ➡ 0 point per step
