Each application have his own method to count steps, depending on the version of your smartphone, the sensibility of the accelerometer, the order of priority of data which feedback and the way of processing information registered.

The application Kiplin is not a pedometer, we retrieve data from an application which allow the sharing of these data : Google. We are actually facing the boundaries of the technology. Applications installed by default on your phone (Samsung Health/ Huawei Health) do not allow to this date application such as Kiplin to retrieve physical activity data (unlike Google).
